BPA and Vistas Construction Working Together
In 2005, in association with Vistas Construction of Illinois, Inc., BPA took part in a design competition for the U.S. Embassy staff’s build-to-suite housing compound in Belmopan, Belize. As the design consultant, BPA developed the master plan for the project which included the Ambassador’s residence, the deputy chief-of-mission’s residence; and 12 three bedroom and four two bedroom residences. The amenities to be provided were a clubhouse, pool, tennis and basketball courts, tot lot, playing fields and a jogging trial.
The Vistas Team was awarded the project in the Summer of 2005. BPA continues to provide design related services, and the project is currently three months ahead of the required completion schedule. The housing compound will be available for occupancy in August of 2006.
