Edward R. Parker (Randy)

BPA President Randy Parker brings with him 30 years of experience to co-lead the BPA team with Tyrone Bradley.  Parker founded the firm 25 years ago, with the intent to develop close relationships with customers, provide them with consistently solid hands-on support accompanied by a solid “can do” attitude that has been the hallmark of the company's success. 

Prior to the creation of BPA, Parker served as both job captain and project manager at Leo A. Daly and Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum for five years. While employed at these firms he had the opportunity to work on large institutional projects including the Fairfax County Courthouse building and the initial Dulles Airport expansion.  Parker began his career at Hunter/Miller & Associates in 1975 after graduating with a bachelor of architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. 

In addition to the 30 years of experience, Parker provides strong and stable leadership to the BPA team that has resulted in consistent growth in revenues for the company.  Fostering a culture that thrives on being a “professional family,” Parker encourages BPA employees at all levels to learn, grow and take the reins when they're ready. 

Today, Parker not only oversees the day-to-day operation of the firm, but also is actively involved in projects at all levels.  As with many members of the BPA team, Parker often travels to various international locations to serve as a full-fledged member of diverse project teams, and lends his vast experience to help make sound judgments to ensure the successful culmination of BPA projects.
