Client: The Philippine Government

Description:

Located at 1600 Massachusetts Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., the design received the first annual Washington, D.C., RAC Excellence in Architectural Design Award in 1993.  Serving as the prime architect in association with The Tower Group Architects, the embassy was designed in a neoclassical style, the exterior skin is pre-cast concrete designed to appear as limestone.  Interior spaces include a two story atrium, ceremonial assembly spaces, consular services, executive offices, conference facilities, cafeteria, exercise facilities and a roof terrace.  BPA coordinated many aspects of the design and construction with the Philippine Government, and provided total engineering coordination and construction administration for this project.
