Description:
Located adjacent to the Old Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C., this building is eligible to be on the National Historic Register. BPA conducted the surveys and necessary conceptual studies to provide the construction documents used in the renovation and restoration of this building. The effort included replacement of all existing roof systems, cleaning, re-pointing and repairing the brick skin and stone sills, new insulated windows and restoration of the elaborate pressed tin cornice and soffit. The main entrance was modified for handicap accessibility.
