Mt. Vernon Elementary School

Description:
BPA served as the prime architect for the addition of a new library and media center at the Mt. Vernon Elementary School. This new facility is a 5,556 square meter addition that bridges two wing corridors of the existing building, enhancing the overall circulation within the school. The concept for the exterior was to downscale the façade in order to blend into the adjacent residential street-scape. BPA provided the preliminary planning and design, the construction documents and oversaw all construction and engineering for the project.
